                                    ~ The  first  underwater  photo ~

        "Masked"    Scorpaena  or  a  sea  scorpion.                                                            1982.      

" My first underwater photograph it is "Masked". When I have shown this photo in a photo-club, all people could not define a subject which have been disguised …  Later I was convinced that all inexperienced photographers have a direction of a lens "from top to down".  Fishes at such camera angle, especially black and white, merge with a background. It would be possible to illuminate, but I had no underwater flashes still … Photographing on depth of 15 meters without artificial illumination it not simple occupation … Many years are spent for designing, manufacturing and perfection of film-making  equipment... Every year, from May till November, I had free days and holiday with an aqualung under water... Hundreds meters of the finished shooting film, thousand sheets of photographic paper. The period of "Fish" has passed interestingly: I have much learned about the underwater world, have got experience of photo art. Took part in competitions on a underwater photo, went on competitions and festivals, has met and has made friends with perfect people - the same as also I, were fond sea and a photo.  In 1987 I for the first time photographed naked girls under water... Then, process of me delighted! To think of results of photographing it would not be desirable... In an exhibition collection there is no photo two-year-old  period  (1987 - 1988):  I am  not  yet  skilful well to  photograph   girls,  but   fishes   have  already  ceased  to  interest  me...      For ever ".
